The Bible and Me: part 1

    When I read the Bible, I read it as if it's a personal letter written for me. Everything in it is a message to me. Every character I like becomes a representation of me, and whatever they are told, or promised I appropriate. I ignore anything extreme - whatever I don't like - I look for what I want to hear.
